With a science degree (Canterbury) background, along with a Business Studies diploma endorsed in financial planning, Jacob was involved in the establishment of the Bradley Nuttall in 1994. However, he didn't join as an active member until 1998.

Strategic planning has always been a tenet of Jacob's job-specification. After leaving the education sector, he spent 11 years in management with National Mutual. This involved leading strategic planning initiatives aimed at helping financial planners to expand their businesses.

Because he has always held a range of business interests, Jacob understands investing from both a business and a personal perspective.

Jacob continues to build his experience leveraging off his global contacts and intense interest in financial markets, to better serve the company's client base.
